Volvo FMX Truck Garbage Collector, Approx. 1:45

A bin lifts at the back of the Volvo FMX Truck Garbage Collector, ready for another stop along a pretend collection route. Its recycling design gives children a working vehicle for stories about keeping city streets clear. The loading mechanism includes a pusher that carries the contents towards the front, leaving room for the next load. At the depot, the movable container tips to empty, inviting children to act out the unloading work of a refuse truck. Opening top and rear doors let them look into the body and reach the cargo area during play. The die-cast metal cab has doors that open for a view of the driver's compartment. With freewheel action and soft, treaded rubber tires, the model can be pushed between imagined homes and collection points. Part of the Grand Series, this Volvo has the working features to make loading duties as much a part of play as driving. The scale is approx. 1:45, and the truck is suitable for children from 3 years.
